For the last 80 years, ESB Group has collaborated closely with the main actors of the wood industry.

Its Board of Directors is made up of a majority of professionals and companies who play an active role in selecting candidates and determining the curriculum.

During their studies, students are able to grasp just how complex society and businesses are by taking part in: work placements, school-company projects, visiting companies, professional trade fairs, conferences…

Business services

Internship

Each year each student carries out a 2 month or 5 month training period in a company in France or abroad.

Companies can offer training periods for the following profiles.

  • 1st year engineering student  (2 months –June and July)
    Training period in production that allows the student to discover the industry. 
    As well as practical this training period also enables the student to observe factory work.
  • 3rd year engineering student  (5 months– March to July)
    The student works as head of a project to write his/her final professional thesis. 
    It can be done in the following fields: industrialization of forest products, logistics and production, construction, trade and research. 

Employment

Companies can submit job offers to the graduate engineers.

The offers can be consulted online by the students.

Companies can directly submit offers to the AIESB for more experienced engineers which the AIESB, ESB engineering association, will then transmit the offers within their network: aiesb@wanadoo.fr

Thanks to our team of teachers and researchers and to our network of professionals, ESB Group offers many in-house training opportunities.

Our training team can contribute to various fields of the furniture industry, wood energy, wood based composites, woodwork, wood based panels, recycling wood products, eco design…
